I had been thinking of making a blog of my creations ever since I had started crafting. But I still didn't have the bones to sit in front of my laptop and enter all what's happening in my creative life, until just today.
I think this is the right time for me to document everything that I make so that I have something to share to every crafters and creators out there. This may sound boring though, forgive me, but I need to start here, of course!
To be honest, I wasn't interested with sewing only after my hubby bought a sewing machine (Singer brand) for the purpose of using it for few fixing of worn-out clothes at home. Yes, he is the one who knows how to use a sewing machine! I didn't know how to use it, though we have an old vintage manual Singer at my grandma's house (God knows where it is now!), I wasn't allowed to touched it.

This is the sewing machine that he bought, with all the basic features, and it's so user-friendly I didn't have a hard time learning and using it.
I just started using some scraps of fabrics, checking the alignment of the stitches, and learning to remove and replace the bobbins. I am a person who easily gets bored, so after doing a three or four practice stitchings I wanted test my sewing skill straight on a project. Yes, I want to do a project right away. That time I didn't have some fabrics at home, I only have a few pieces of felt cloth available.
1st Project

iPad Sleeve made of felt cloth. |
I decided to make an iPad sleeve. I can call this as my 1st project though this is just a sort of a practice of my sewing skills.
Well, the stitches were not perfect. At the back, the zigzag stich had misaligned. The black stretch cord that is going to be attached to the button as a closure is just my hair tie! I just hand-stitched it. But overall, I was doing okay as a newbie, I believe.
